What can we say other than “Joseph” is shaping up to be an absolutely fantastic show, the level of talent and enthusiasm from all involved is absolutely incredible and we can’t wait for you all to see this triumph of a show! We have now completely sold out all 7 shows which is an incredible achievement! Thank you to all of you who have bought your tickets.
If you haven’t managed to get a ticket, we are still looking for volunteers for front of house, backstage, makeup and wardrobe. As you all know, it takes a village to put on a show and it can’t run smoothly without the support off-stage.
If you can help in any please let us know using the link on our website Volunteer Form.

Well, what a show, thank you all again for your hard work and dedication, the show was a HUGE success and we have had some brilliant feedback from Noda & our customers, with the NODA review available on our website Here Cinderella Noda Review.
It also looks like we have made a significant amount of profit which is BRILLIANT so well done to all of you for pushing those tickets!!
Ceri and her team are already working hard on Sleeping Beauty 2024.
Watch this space for more news!!

Our 2022 pantomime, “Dick Whittington” was nominated for Best Small Pantomime at the 2023 NODA awards. Unfortunately, we didn’t win this time but we are thrilled to have been recognised and very proud of each and every person involved in bringing such a great show to life.
Keep everything crossed that we see more nominations next year for Cinderella and Joseph!

Pantomime 2024 Sleeping Beauty The Playhouse Cheltenham
We have secured the licence to perform “Sleeping Beauty” as our 2024 panto. Ceri and the team are hard at work putting all of the pre-audition information together and they can’t wait to get started (after a couple of weeks rest after Joseph, of course!!)

The dates for the show are 14th - 18th Feb 2024 – this is half term week. As the show will be during half term, we are able to add an extra performance. The shows will be as follows:
Wednesday 14th – Sunday 18th 7pm performances
Thursday 15th, Saturday 17th and Sunday 17th – 2pm matinees.
As you can see, we have a matinee on the Thursday which will mean that all cast will be required to be at the theatre all day on the Thursday for both performances.
Due to the number of performances, we will also need 2 sets of children to comply with our Child BOPA licence which means that even more of you can be involved!
Summer Show 2024 TBA Jull 2024 The Playhouse Cheltenham

Lionel Basset
It is with great sadness we learned about the passing of this much-loved man, he was a long-time member of the society and performed with us in many shows, was a past member of the committee, and also directed & stage-managed productions for us.
He passed away suddenly on 12th March 2023. Lionel was a much-loved father, grandfather and partner, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all his friends and family, we will all miss him greatly and remember him with fondness

Adrian Prewer
Many of you will already know, but we are pleased to announce that ex-Vice Chairman and long-term member and supporter of the society Adrian Prewer married his partner Victoria, just before Christmas on the 23rd of December, it was a cold yet fantastic event attended by many members past and present.
We wish Adrian and his new family all the best and happiness for the future.
As always, your committee are on hand to answer any of your questions or take any of your suggestions, please get in touch with us if you want to talk future shows or social events.
