Promenade Productions capped off a magical 40th birthday week with a triumphant production of Sleeping Beauty. The pantomime was a resounding success, enjoyed by both the talented cast and delighted
The highlight of the week was the memorable gala night on Thursday, where it was a joy to welcome back so many cherished members, both past and present.
This celebratory week solidified Promenade Productions' place as a vibrant and thriving community theatre company.
The Birthday Festivities didnt end there
Promenade Productions continued its 40th-anniversary
Celebrated in style with a rip-roaring barn dance at The Tithe Barn in Bishop's Cleeve. The atmosphere was electric as past and present members came together to reminisce, celebrate, and – most importantly – cut a rug on the dance floor!
A Night to Remember
From the moment guests arrived, the spirit of camaraderie was palpable. The Tithe Barn, with its rustic charm, provided the perfect setting for a night of toe-tapping fun. Hettie Peglars Tump Band kept the energy high with a fantastic selection of traditional and contemporary folk tunes. Their infectious enthusiasm had everyone up and dancing, from seasoned barn dance veterans to complete novices taking their first tentative steps.
More Than Just Dancing
The evening wasn't just about the dancing, though there was certainly plenty of that! A delicious finger buffet kept everyone fueled for the energetic festivities. Laughter filled the room as old
Friends reconnected and new friendships were forged. The grand raffle added to the excitement, with some lucky attendees taking home fantastic prizes.
