Repunzel Feb 2026

Rapunzel the pantomime follows the classic fairy tale, but with a comedic twist, often featuring new characters and unexpected plot turns.

The core story involves Rapunzel, a princess with long, magical hair, who is imprisoned in a tower by the wicked Gothel. A prince, often portrayed as clumsy or clueless, and a sidekick, frequently a dame (a comedic female character played by a male actor), embark on a quest to rescue her.

The pantomime includes slapstick comedy, audience participation, and plenty of hair-raising jokes, all while working towards the happy ending of Rapunzel and the prince reuniting
